So as some of you know, both Emily and I have been using Bloglovin' lately as a great way of staying in touch with the blogging community. I have had quite a few people actually ask me what the hell it is though so I thought it would be a good idea to explain. The beauty of this app/site is that it doesn't matter whether you're a writer or a reader, you can have a great time on there!
- It's very easy to use- you literally just click 'follow' on their profile and away you go!
- You get weekly updates via email of what your favourite bloggers have posted.
- You can follow as many blogs as you want and they're all in the same place- this means you can quite literally catch up with all of your favourite people with ease because they're all in the same place!
- You can download the app or use the site so you can basically take your reading with you wherever you go.
- If you're a blogger then its a great way to showcase what you do to people that you wouldn't have been able to reach out to without it.
- I also love the fact that following other blogs means that you can take inspiration form their ideas and therefore create even more magic on your little slice of heaven.
- There is an option for you to see 'similar blogs' to your favourites, or even to your own. I have found so many great blogs that are similar to the ones that I write and currently love to read and it's all because I clicked that magic button.
- It's basically like another form of social media, so you can see what your friends have saved, uploaded etc and go give them a read too. Plus its a great excuse to reach out to new people on other forms of social media because you can talk about the things that you know are common interests.
